Caledon Hockley:
Cal Hockley is Rose's 30-something fiance, and serves as the main antagonist of the film. He is arrogant and snobbish, and the heir to a steel fortune in Pittsburgh. He becomes increasingly embarrassed, jealous, and cruel about Rose's relationship with Jack. He survives the sinking of Titanic, without knowing whether Rose survived or not. He later commits suicide after losing his fortune in the Wall Street Crash of 1929.
